Jinmu Health is the leader in scientific pulse analysis.

We have developed a pulse sensor and app that provides immediate visual results. Our mission is to get this technology into the hands of practitioners who make the world a healthier place.

Our science

Jinmu Health is based on rigorous academic research. We use the science of cyclic resonance theory, mathematical modeling, and corresponding harmonics with meridians to analyze the pulse waveform. This science is based on the the life work of Professor Wei-Kung Wang, PHD John Hopkins in Biophysics. His ground breaking work provides the physiological evidence for the ancient concept of meridians.

Cyclic Resonance Theory

  1. Treat the circulatory system as a pressure transmission system

  2. Diastolic blood pressure provides tension, propping up the arteries to facilitate pressure transmission

  3. Blood pressure pulse waves are generated by the blood flow from the heart hitting the ascending aortic arch

  4. The blood pressure pulse wave is transmitted along the arterial system to the distal end in the manner of radial vibration

  5. The resonance frequency of each organ or vascular plexus is an integer multiple of the resonance frequency of the aorta to achieve resonance with the heartbeat, which greatly improves the transmission efficiency

  6. The blood pressure wave reaches the vascular plexus at the end of the artery, and the transmitted elastic potential energy is converted into kinetic energy through the small opening at the end to push the blood into the microcirculation for nutrient exchange

  7. The blood flows to the veins and back to the right atrium, ready for the next circulation

Mathematical Modeling of the Pulse Waveform

Professor Wei-Kung Wang published his first mathematical modeling experiments of the circulatory system in 1989. (Cardiovascular Research, 23: 465-467, 1989)

Professor Wang used a rubber tube and balloon model to imitate our body. The rubber tube represents the "blood vessel,” and the balloon is like our "internal organs." It was found that any balloon (organ) in the squeeze pathway can detect changes at any point in the blood vessel (rubber tube).

He concluded: "Pulse" is a complicated result, and it reflects the condition of blood circulation throughout the body. If there is a change in blood circulation anywhere in the body, a difference can be found in the phase of the pulse.

Fourier transform

Fourier transform

Professor Wang used Fourier Transform to transform the waveform from the time domain into the frequency domain for 11 separate data (C0 - C11).

"Fourier transform is a linear integral transform, often used when transforming a signal between the time domain (or spatial domain) and the frequency domain. It is used in physics and engineering."

Corresponding Harmonics with the 12 Meridians

Each harmonic from the pulse waveform is translated from C0 to C11 which corresponds to the meridians.

Our Company

Jinmu Health Technology was founded by Professor Wei-Kung Wang in 2017 as an extension of his three decades of research and commitment to scientific pulse research. Jinmu is now led by Jimmy Wang, Eleanor Wang, and Tammie Wang, his three children. Using modern technology, portable non-invasive battery powered sensors, cloud-based computing, Bluetooth connected apps, big data, and artificial intelligence, we can now do analysis that took two days in two minutes.

Jinmu works with researchers, businesses, and individuals to provide real-time usable health information. We partner with hospitals and governments to continue research for solutions to improve health. We work with wearable health and technology businesses to provide integration with existing sensor technologies. We sell sensors and access directly to alternative medicine practitioners to track the health of their clients, provide individualized health reports, and customizable solutions. We imagine a world where our analysis is the cornerstone of preventative medicine practices in hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and homes.

I hope all of us will learn from past experiences and think about how to integrate both Western and Chinese medicines, to utilize the strength in both medicines, and develop new theories that expand the horizons of future medicine.

Our Research

Our extensive research includes more than 142 peer reviewed articles. From the original study published in 1989 through current partnerships with Taipei research hospitals we are committed to continuing to advance the science of pulse diagnosis. In 2019 our article on cardiovascular risk factors in women during menopause was recognized by the American Heart Associate for Highest Ranked International Abstract.
